Also known as “giant desktop computer in my kitchen” and “I couldn’t be happier about the eye sore of a computer on my counter because I am actually getting work done during the day”.

A Dell technician came to our house Monday to repair our laptop. Instead of replacing the malfunctioning laptop, Dell elected to replace nearly every single component on our laptop including the power adapter. The parts that were not changed out – the bottom piece of plastic, the hard drive, the dvd drive, the keyboard, and the memory.
So our laptop should be working much better but my husband still needs to reinstall the operating system because Dell corrupted our current operating system when they attempted to do a system repair during the first time we sent back. They tried to install OEM Dell Windows 7 Home but my laptop had an OEM HP version of Windows 7 Pro.
Until that gets all straightened out, I will just love my desktop computer, on the kitchen counter and all.
