I really feel your pain! I know what its like to have every moment monopolized by food. It is so frustrating when your instincts say “ooh well, dont eat then”, buy your child has to eat ,unlike the average child who can ” live off the land” for awhile and be ok! It looks like you have tried everything. The only other thing I can suggest is involve him in the cooking process. Get a kids recipe book with vibrant pictures! Let him pick a recipe. Let him help you load the cart, then let him add ingredients, mix them…etc. Encourage him to taste ingredients while you prepare the meal. I did this along with a behavior chart. One of the things on the chart was “sitting still at dinner and eating like a big girl”. Once she filled her chart with stamps…she got a special gift. Ava is almost 5 now and is an awesome eater so it will get better….baby steps…:)
